Experimental build — adds the 3-way loot mode picker (DKP / Loot Council / SoftRes) and native softres.it import with rolls. Not fully raid-tested yet.

Stick with the stable build above if you just want logs. The beta is for guilds who want to try the new loot systems — report issues in #bugs-feedback.

Installation

  1. 1. Close WoW completely (Alt+F4 or Quit, not just logout).
  2. 2. Download Skald-v1.16.1.zip with the button above.
  3. 3. Extract the contents of the zip into:
    <ton install WoW>\Interface\AddOns\

    You should have Interface/AddOns/Skald/Skald.lua and .toc after extraction.

  4. 4. Relaunch WoW. At the character selection screen, click AddOns in the bottom left and check that Skald is ticked. Tick "Load out of date AddOns" if the addon version doesn't match the client.
  5. 5. In game, type /skald to open the UI. You should see "Skald v1.16.1 loaded" in chat.

What it does

  • Auto combat log on raid entry + upload popup on exit
  • Session tracking : roster snapshot (who was present, ML, ranks, classes, subgroups) saved per night
  • Loot council (RCLootCouncil-style) with raider Need/Greed/DE vote, spec selector, equipped item preview, privileged council
  • Pull timer without the naff animation (doesn't hardcrash like DBM on this build) — DBM bridge for raiders who only have DBM
  • Food / flask / elixir check with raid announce + auto whisper to those missing them
  • Gear scan of the raid via NotifyInspect + copy-paste JSON export to skaldlogs.com/import

Essential commands

  • /skald — opens the main UI
  • /skald buff — checks raid food/flask
  • /skald ml — opens the loot council frame
  • /pullskald 10 or /sp 10 — 10s pull timer (doesn't crash)
  • /rc — raid ready check
  • /skald export — popup with the JSON to paste on skaldlogs.com/import
  • /skald log — debug log popup (to report a bug)
  • /skald help — full list
